Skyflower: flavored body art

Posted by Picasa
I'd been looking for a pleasurable way of earning a few more dollars than I've been accustomed to having lately and tie all of my skills together in one form. I was hanging out with some friends at a street poetry and art festival, mostly bored at the narrow range of carnival snacks, the din of loud people and bad sound systems, so I did what I often do, found a quieter spot, just out of range, fired up a joint and started drawing on my trousers. Someone told me it was supposed to be big fun, but it wasn't. Well anyway as everyone knows, if you light up, someone's going to show up and I was grateful she did. Dian was way too young for any kind of romantic adventure, but she was from the Netherlands, tall, very blonde and cute. After her first hit of the keif & kine, she asked, "Why are you drawing on your clothes?", I replied, One of my friends told me I wouldn't need my sketch book. They were wrong. After the second hit she asked if I'd draw and write a poem on her. She wasn't wearing very much so I asked where? She offered me her left shoulder and I went at it with my every present Sharpies, the result was okay to me. So I whipped out my cell phone and took a picture of my work. Dian, helped me finish out the joint and strolled off into the crowd. Returning a while later with more cute kids that wanted to be drawn on, so I did. All together about a dozen pieces, before my friends caught up and swept me away.

Since then I've worked out a short poem style, began to work with flavored food colors, chocolates and fruit puree's to enhance the experience. I'll begin offering the service late July.

I'll be sharing the most inspiring works and details on this blog
